June absolutely flew by, and I'm finally catching up on my blog, But I feel like there's so much to say! I'll start with our trip to Austin a couple weeks ago. Brandon's good friend Justin got married, so we were there for all the festivities. Justin has been one of the most loyal friends to Brandon, and Whitney is so perfect for him. He and Whitney are the kind of friends that I know will always be in our lives. We're so excited for them. We had such a good weekend, getting to spend some good time with Brandon's family. His parents came to Dallas, then we all caravanned to Austin for the weekend, where we stayed with Kim and Philip. Here's a few pictures from our weekend...

At the wedding
The whole fam:)
With the groom and his beautiful bride
The happy couple
Love him more than anything
I even got to meet up with some college friends at Bethany's
and hold her precious baby boy. It was so fun seeing these girls.

And then it was June
Holy moly how time does fly. Last weekend Brandon had a fishing trip with the boys and all the wives went to Southlake for a good girly weekend of shopping. It was the perfect weekend. The boys had a great time fishing the Brazos River on kayaks and thinking they were Man vs. Wild. Here are some pictures..
The girls had a pretty great weekend also...
Then this past weekend, a bunch of us went to Canton/First Monday/Flea Market Extravaganza. It was the worst heat I've ever experienced in my life, but we still had a lot of fun. Brandon and I even got matching road bikes- yeah, just TRY and tell me that isn't the cutest thing you've ever heard. Then yesterday, we got to spend the day with Guy, one of Brandon's best buddies from Atlanta. It was really great to see him.
Happy birthday PopPop!!
Today is my PopPop's 82nd Birthday! He's such a good grandpa, and I just wish I got to see him more often. Love you PopPop!!!
And ALSO today is my parents' anniversary! They have such a wonderful marriage, and I am so blessed to have grown up with their example of love, commitment, and a Christ-centered relationship.
I love yall!

We love our Rangers
Again this season, we are obsessed with the Rangers. I never expected to get like this...but Brandon won't miss a single minute. It's been a pretty good year for the Rangers, and tonight was our 2nd straight shutout! Woo woo!!! Brandon really loooooves the Rangers, and so does his Bailey girl...
I would feel guilty not also mentioning how much the Mavs are killing it this season. It's so fun to watch basketball for once in my life! There has been so much drama on the court and they've really been making for some exciting ballgames. Never in my life did I think I would care at all about basketball, but wooo hoooo GOOOOOOOOOOOO MAVS!!
Hope everyone's having a good Monday!
And if you missed the Bachelorette season premiere, shame on you!

For the love of the boat
Brandon has been working on the side driveway for the past couple of weekends so that the boat has a new and improved place to lay its wheels. Our driveway is in the alley, so he also put up a fence so that you can't see it from the street. He has worked so hard, and I think it looks so good! Here are the pictures!

Rangers, a shower, and a fence
This past weekend was great. It started out with a Rangers' Game with lots of our friends on Friday night. Gorgeous weather and a great fireworks show, not to mention that we won! Then we worked around the house on Saturday, Brandon putting in the fence by our driveway (pictures coming soon). We went to shower baby Jonah Duke with some boy stuff, since everything he got at the first shower was pink :) Then we got to see Kristi and Jared on Saturday night and play with Colt and Landry. It's been wayyyy too long since we've seen them, so it was fun playing with them. They are both getting so big and Colt is talking sooo much! It's crazy how much a kid changes if you don't see him really frequently. Sunday we had a good day with friends again and worked on the fence. Overall, a pretty good weekend. Now if we could just have a couple days to rest!!! Hope you all had a good weekend!

Allie GRADUATED!!!!!
Today my little sister graduated from college, and I'm so sad I wasn't there to see her get her diploma. From COLLEGE- time just goes by sooo fast and it seems crazy that she is already entering the lovely working world. She got her Business degree in something that I don't really even understand, but I am so impressed by her skills and passion for the business/marketing/sales/managing/financial stuff in life. She's really good at it. And someday we're going to open up our own bakery where she'll manageit, and I'll do speech therapy in the back room... and me and my swallowing patients can be the taste-testers as part of our therapy. Yeahhhh. Anyways, Allie is now off into the real world. She's such a strong, kind, capable, respectful, and independent girl, and I'm confident that she's going to love working and finding new adventures in her life. Maybe Nashville, maybe not. Maybe familiar, maybe not. Maybe totally new and unexpected, maybe not. But what I do know is that Al will be great whatever she does and wherever she goes. And who can blame me for kinda hoping that "wherever" turns out to be Dallas, TX?!?
Allie, I'm so proud of you. You really found something you love and are very good at, and I pray that you will have a very fun and fulfilling life doing what you love to do. Congratulations!!!

MOTHER'S DAY!!!
Brandon and I didn't get to be with our mom's on Mother's Day this year, so we ended up hanging out with our other friends who don't have family in town. But I always get sad because I wish I could be there with them to show them and better tell them how much they mean to me. Brandon and I both have the best moms imaginable, and we have been thinking about them a lot this week, along with my Granny, Memommy, and his Granny and Mema. I've also been thinking about all my wonderful friends who are new mommies this year. It's so crazy seeing our friends turn into such wonderful mothers. Hope all you moms out there had a great day and felt very special. You are such a blessing and we love you!!!

Mom and Dad came to Texas
My parents came to visit last weekend, and it was sooooo good to have them here. There are 100 things I wanted to do with them while they were here, but it ended up being perfect with just enough time to relax and still get out a lot. After watching lots of the Royal Wedding, Mom and I got some good shopping done. All the while, Dad and Brandon cut down some tree limbs, went to Home Depot like 10 times, and did some other manly things around the house. Then we went to downtown McKinney which is sooo cute I never knew!! We ate some good food and just enjoyed walking around the little shops. Mom and I saw Water For Elephants, which I've been eagerly anticipating and it did not disappoint. Dad and Brandon saw some stupid boy movie that they said was good. They got to meet all our friends from church and now understand why we love them so much. On Monday, I took off work and spent the day with them. I took them to IKEA for their first experience there, and we cooked some good food. All before they had to leave Tuesday morning, which I was pretty bummed about. It was so wonderful to see them.

So glad yall came to visit us!!!! Miss you already!

Slumber Party
This week we've been keeping our friends' dog Murphy. Bailey is in HEAVEN. They have played and played and played. She hasn't played with another dog like this in a lonnnng time and she is loving every minute. They have gotten along so well and played so hard, but they've also been very relaxed and sleepy by the end of the day (hallelujah). And the best news is that Jon and Erin just moved into our neighborhood about a month ago, so Bailey's new friend lives just a few houses away! Brandon snapped a few pictures tonight for your viewing enjoyment...

Bailey is 3!
Today is Bailey's 3rd birthday. I can hardly believe that she's so old, practically an adult now! Brandon and I had no idea what we were getting ourselves into when we decided to get a puppy, but now we really can't imagine life without her. She's such a sweet girl, and we have so many great memories with our goober. Since she's the only kid I've got, I'm now going to do the mommy thing and put up some pictures to look back on the years with my girl...
Now 2 years old- so grown up, but so much energy!
Two of her favorite things are going on walks and chasing bunnies in the backyard.

3 years old now, our girl has gotten so big!

| Good times on the boat- 9 weeks old |
